The real story however, is what happened after the movie. A bunch of us decided that we were hungry and would go to the Denny's on Baseline for something to eat. Although there were classes the next day and it was about 3 in the morning it made very much sense at the time so we headed in and sat down.
Unfortunately there was no whipped cream for Courtney's pumpkin pie, so we decided that we would go on a mission to the nearby Safeway to aquire some and hopefully make it back before our food got too cold. We also had decided to take Grace home as she looked like she would'nt be awake much longer on the amount of sleep she had the night before. After dropping her off we headed out to the Safeway.
We made it there about 4am and unfortunately there was a sign on the door stating that they would be closed until 5am. I figured that we would go back to Denny's. Instead Courtney noticed that some of the stockers were in the store and she began pounding on the door. Incredibly none of them heard the noise, but undeterred Courtney then manually opened the automatic door and went inside. She then asked the startled Safeway employees if they wouldn't mind if we came into the store for some whipped cream. He thought about it for a while and then agreed and told her that Kinsey and I could come in too!
It was quite amusing watching the reactions of the various employees as we regaled them with stories of the missing whipped cream from Dennys and wandered around inside their closed Safeway. Most of them seemed pretty skeptical that we were there for just whipped cream but after a few minutes we were out of there and on our way back to Dennys.
By the time I got to bed I had gotten to see the sunrise, and I'm pretty sure it was about 6:30 when I finally got to sleep. Unfortunately this was a Friday morning on which I have 9am classes. As you might expect I slept through them and didn't wake up until about 11:45 to make it to my noon class. But it was all worth it! :)
